Try-catch alert Selenium
.everyoneloves__top-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__mid-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__bot-mid-leaderboard:empty{ height:90px;width:728px;box-sizing:border-box;
}
Has anyone ever gotten or even gotten close to doing an if on an alert? I'm trying to do an automation and sometimes an alert appears, but I already tried to do an if and I always get a fatal error with the exception. I tried everything and could not make a condition to check if there is an alert.
My code is below:
try {
$driver->switchTo()->alert()->dismiss();
$p = true;
} catch(NoAlertOpenException $e) {
$p = false;
}
var_dump($p);
In this case if the alert appears, it gives me true in the variable $ p, but if it does not appear, it gives me a fatal error and for the execution of the code as below:
Fatal error: Uncaught FacebookWebDriverExceptionNoAlertOpenException: No alert is active in
I tried $ driver->switchTo()->alert()
and it always turns me true, either in the IF or TRY.
How could I make this alert condition in Selenium PHP?
selenium selenium-webdriver alert
