Safari resetting 'scrollLeft' to '0' on 'overflow:hidden' change
I have a problem in Safari and I'm not sure if it's a bug or a feature. I've created a codepen that replicates the problem (Safari only!)

Not a code problem, please look at link.
Click the 'Scroll' button, then scroll the div down to the bottom. Safari resets the 'scrollLeft' position. No other browser does this. Anyone know a way around it? I tried creating a 'scroll' listen that constantly set the correct position but it caused lots of glitching while scrolling.
