Using React/AWS Amplify/withAuthenticator: How do I get to the app after successful sign-in

0

I currently have my App.js file wrapped in the withAuthenticator higher component, as outlined in AWS Amplify's docs. Rather than using Amplify's default login components, I'm passing in the component LoginPage, which has several custom child form components that I'm using for login.

export default withAuthenticator(
App, true, [<LogInPage />, ]
);

The form itself is connected to Amplify using
import { Auth } from 'aws-amplify'; but when I complete the sign in, I am not taken to the App.js content. In fact, I am not taken anywhere.

The Auth.signin code is in my Login component's code, and calling it with a valid username and password returns the user data object, but that's it.

submitForm = () => {
const { username, password } = this.state;
Auth.signIn(username, password)
.then(user => console.log(user))
.catch(err => console.log(err));
};

What else do I need to do to get the login page to disappear and take me to the actual application?
