Using React/AWS Amplify/withAuthenticator: How do I get to the app after successful sign-in
I currently have my App.js
file wrapped in the withAuthenticator
higher component, as outlined in AWS Amplify's docs. Rather than using Amplify's default login components, I'm passing in the component LoginPage
, which has several custom child form components that I'm using for login.
export default withAuthenticator(
App, true, [<LogInPage />, ]
);
The form itself is connected to Amplify using
import { Auth } from 'aws-amplify';
but when I complete the sign in, I am not taken to the App.js content. In fact, I am not taken anywhere.
The Auth.signin
code is in my Login
component's code, and calling it with a valid username and password returns the user data object, but that's it.
submitForm = () => {
const { username, password } = this.state;
Auth.signIn(username, password)
.then(user => console.log(user))
.catch(err => console.log(err));
};
What else do I need to do to get the login page to disappear and take me to the actual application?
