Deserializing JSON objects with a UUID as object name

6

I have a JSON object which I want to deserialize into a POJO.

This is the first time I've encountered when constructing my POJO, for the class name to be different each time (UUID).

I would always try to show a (non)working example, but in my limited Java knowledge, I'm unsure actually what to ask for.

Example JSON message:

{
"staticProperty":"here",
"anotherStaticProperty":{
},
"dynamicallyNamedObjects":{
"2584e2e5-2ccb-35e9-be3c-b75c2366fe58":{
"innerStaticProperty":0,
"innerStaticProperty2":"",
"innerStaticProperty3":false
},
"cd3b7d2b-ff79-3575-8725-041f7447c798":{
// as above
},
"d763f409-c5f8-35bf-9d24-0ac24c857139":{
// as above
}
}
}

The properties within each of the dynamically named objects are standard across all of them.

As I'm unsure what the above is called, I guess my question is if deserializing is possible and if there are any helpful examples online or on here please.

Many thanks.

    i think what you could try to do, is to deserialize the objects into a Map with the "UUID" as the Key and the custom Object as a Value (stackoverflow.com/questions/2711067/…) could help here
