How to implement options that depend on another option in my own WEKA classifier
I am implementing a weka classifier. Currently, I am working on the parameters (options) that the user can change using the GUI.
It has several options.Specifically, there is one (lets call it M) which changes the algorithm that the classifier is going to use (lets call them algorithm A, algorithm B).
If the algorithm A is selected, new options should appear (or be available) (options 1,3,4). However, if the algorithm B is the one selected, different options should be available (options 2,4,5).
In other words, I have options which depend on another option.
if (M == _ALGORITHM_A) {
// read options 1,3 and 4
else if ( M == _ALGORITHM_B) {
// read options 2,4 and 5
An easy solution would be having always all the options available (1,2,3,4 and 5) but options 1 and 3 do not make any sense with the algorithm B and the same for options 2 and 5 with algorithm A. So, at least, I would like to not let the user choose the options of algorithms he has not chosen.
Is there a way to implement this on WEKA? I have read the official documentation about options and I could not find anything about this.
