Java: Line coverage with ASM
I want to create my own tool to create line coverage with the help of ASM (visitor based).
I had the idea to call a method in each line parsing the classname and the current line number.
For example:
public static void main(String args) {
i = 1+5;
}
becomes:
public static void main(String args) {
i = 1+5;
Tracker.visited(Main.class,8);
}
1: Is this even possible in ASM?
2: How is it done?
3: Are there other ways to do this in ASM?
