We want to lower case all URLs on the website, so we've created a rewrite rule.

<rule name="LowerCaseRule" enabled="true" stopProcessing="true">
<match url="[A-Z]" ignoreCase="false" />
<action type="Redirect" url="{ToLower:{URL}}" />
</rule>

The problem arises on the searchbox, we have a textbox and an imagebutton (with postbackurl)

<div class="search-content-div">
<asp:TextBox ID="searchBox" runat="server" Text="Type Part Number Here" onfocus="OnSearchBoxFocus('searchBox');" onblur="OnSearchBoxLostFocus('searchBox');" CssClass="search-div-textbox" autocomplete="off">
</asp:TextBox>
<asp:ImageButton ID="searchButton" runat="server" EnableViewState="false" CssClass="search-button" ImageUrl="/images/search_icon.png" PostBackUrl="/SearchResults.aspx" formnovalidate="formnovalidate" />
</div>

It seems that after redirecting the page (now with the lower case URL), the data on the textbox got lost. My thought here is that, posting data with redirect will lose any data on the form. Is there a way to go around this problem? By the way, the textbox and imagebutton controls are on the Master page.
