I'm stuck trying to create a while loop which will essentially simulate 'lighting a lighter'

.everyoneloves__top-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__mid-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__bot-mid-leaderboard:empty{ height:90px;width:728px;box-sizing:border-box;
}

0

When the user enters 'flick' 3 times, the code should go through the last print statement but it does not. What is the problem?

action = input("left or right: ")
def right():
global flick
if action == "Right" or action == "right":
print("You feel around, finding what must be a lighter.")
flick = input("Flick the lighter! ")
flick = 0
while flick <= 3:
if flick == "Flick" or flick == "flick":
input("Flick again!")
flick += 1
print("The light glimmers and you can now see a small space in front
of you.")
right()
