How to Manipulate Excel file stored in Annotation from CRM Dynamics?
.everyoneloves__top-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__mid-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__bot-mid-leaderboard:empty{ height:90px;width:728px;box-sizing:border-box;
}
I'm trying to access an Excel File that's stored in an Annotation Entity from CRM Dynamics.
For this, what I do actually is Retrieve the Entity and try to pass the DocumentBody attribute to the Workbook object.
foreach (var ent in result.Value.Entities)
{
string excelBruto = ent.GetAttributeValue<string>("documentbody");
Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.Application excel = new Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.Application();
Workbook wbv = excel.Workbooks.Open(excelBruto);
Worksheet ws = (Worksheet)wbv.Worksheets[1];
string dato = ws.Cells[4,"B"];
Salida1Buffer.test1 = dato;
}
}
Salida1Buffer is where I want to store the Excel data
The main problem is in this line.
Workbook wbv = excel.Workbooks.Open(excelBruto);
That gives me this exception:
{"Exception of HRESULT: 0x800A03EC"}
I think I cannot just pass to Workbooks.Open the string with the ExcelFile
How can I open the Excel file without storing the file?
c# excel dynamics-crm

certainly not as a string - excel interprets the string argument as a path. you'll need a stream. xlsx files are binary streams (zip files). start here
