Play SMB mp4 file in ExoPlayer
I don't know if it's possible... but I wanna play a mp4 file on my local network into the Android ExoPlayer...
I searched a lot online but I didn't find anything...
The file is on this location: smb://192.168.x.x/file.mp4
I tried using this code:
String file = "smb://192.168.x.x/file.mp4";
//self is my context
DefaultDataSourceFactory dataSourceFactory = new DefaultDataSourceFactory(self, null, new DefaultBandwidthMeter());
ExtractorMediaSource mediaSource = new ExtractorMediaSource.Factory(dataSourceFactory).createMediaSource(Uri.parse(file));
player.prepare(mediaSource);
But I got a runtime error from ExoPlayer... Maybe because im not authenticated?
I dont know honestly, hope someone can help me with this...
