MapBox loading data with requsts to MongoDB

0

I'm trying to develop a website which runs thanks to Node.js, requests data from a locally installed on my computer MongoDB database and shows places in Mapbox depending on their GPS coordinates. I've searched everywhere how to load this information into the Mapbox but no one has ever done that. Even on the Mapbox site, they didn't explain such a way of doing it.

Also, I struggle to understand how exactly to build my MongoDB request on javascript (to write in the Node.js server file) in order to take the information.

I will really appreciate if someone could explain to me a little bit of all that. Does it worth it to use a database or its better to stay with JSON files from where I could read and load the information in the Mapbox?

Thank you in advance!
