Sending a separate object, on every change stream event
Currently I am returning a changestream to the client from the server and would like to send an object on each event. Is there any way to do this?
The object is of a different type then the class used for the changestream. Here is some of my current code, any help will be greatly appreciated thanks in advance.
The changestream I have set up:
iesStatusChangeStream = reactiveTemplate.changeStream("iesMasterInfo", changeStreamOptions ,IESMasterInfo.class);
The get mapping returning the change stream:
@GetMapping(value="/reactiveStatus", produces = MediaType.TEXT_EVENT_STREAM_VALUE)
public Flux<ChangeStreamEvent<IESMasterInfo>> liveIESMstrInfosStatus(){
return ndSubEvtProcessor.getIESchangeStreamForStatusTracking();
}
The idea would be for this to return an object aswell or solely just the object on every new changestream event
java reactive-programming changestream

My current work around is to send another http get request from the client when ever the client receives the changestream event:this.source.addEventListener('message', (message: MessageEvent) => { this.http.get("https://localhost:9983/ndsMgmt/getStatuses").subscribe(item => {
