Northern Association

The Northern Association was a Class D minor league. It began and ended play in 1910, not even lasting the full season, disbanding on July 19. The Joliet club moved to Sterling on June 21. Clinton and Freeport disbanded on June 28; Elgin and Kankakee disbanded on July 11.

Casey Stengel and Fritz Maisel were the only two players to reach Major League Baseball after playing in the Northern Association.[1]
