asset-pipeline plugin is not showing the proper error message while minifying the assets
I'm using grails-2.4.4, and added compile "org.grails.plugins:asset-pipeline:2.14.1.1" plugin.
Now I'm trying to minify all assets, so for that I've given below config in Config.groovy
grails.assets.minifyJs = true
grails.assets.minifyCss = true
grails.assets.bundle=true
Now, when asset-pipeline plugin minifies the assets, then its failing while processing one of my internal files, and its showing below error,
Error executing script AssetPrecompile: java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com.google.common.base.CharMatcher.javaUpperCase()Lcom/google/common/base/CharMatcher;
java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com.google.common.base.CharMatcher.javaUpperCase()Lcom/google/common/base/CharMatcher;
at java.util.concurrent.FutureTask.report(FutureTask.java:122)
at java.util.concurrent.FutureTask.get(FutureTask.java:192)
I guess that, while minifying the files, somewhere I've messed up the function calls, so my question is, as asset-pipeline plugin is not printing the exact error message where it got failed, Do we have any other minify validators to verify all js files syntaxes??
