OpenLayers - Layout thrashing?
How does OpenLayers handle layout thrashing? I could understand that for a component like this, it's important to keep this in mind performance-wise.
Reference: What forces layout / reflow
A quick search in code on getBoundingClientRect already gave me some hits on this being executed several times on the viewport. There does not seem to be a caching mechanism installed in OpenLayers.
Has this been studied?
