CMake generate_export_header() in C Project
I am using CMake to build a C (C99 to be exact) library. To export the symbols into a shared library, I am currently using generate_export_header(). this requires C and CXX to be activated as a language instead of just C (which is a bummer, because a C++ compiler is required in this case).
Is there a way to tell generate_export_header() to only work with C or is there an alternative to the function?
Also, I want to use CMake version 3.8 or an earlier version (I'm saying this because this merge request seems to target my issue, but it was opened long after CMake 3.8).
Sincerely,
Lehks
