Set token in header response and redirect to another route with loopbackcli & nodejs

0

I'm stuck with a problem of registering a token. I searched the web but no chance; here is the code:

const token = jwt.sign({
iduser: userObj.idUser,
name: userObj.name,
}, app.get('myKey'));

res.header('x-auth-token', token).redirect('/index');

After a login success I sign a token and save it in a response header so I can redirect to main page. There is a middleware that checks if token exists if not send a access denied message, here is the middleware (authentification):

'use strict';
var app = require('../server.js');
const jwt = require('jsonwebtoken');

module.exports = function(req, res, next) {
const userToken = req.header('x-auth-token');
if (!userToken)
return res.status(401).send('Access Denied !');
try {
req.user = jwt.verify(userToken, app.get('myKey'));
next();
} catch (ex) {
res.status(400).send('Invalid request data');
}
};

and finally here is the index route:

router.get('/index', authentification, function(req, res) {
res.render('index');
});
