Android how to send/upload video file from device to server?
In my app there's a folder that stores videos the user creates with the camera, e.g. "my_video_11122018.mp4" etc. The user then can press a button which is supposed to send this video to an online server we host, so we can do some post-processing before sending it back.
What is a good and simple setup for doing this, particularly on the Android/Java side? Our server has a Python script that does the video processing, and we can modify it as needed. Main priority is finding a simple and reliable solution for the Android side.
Happy to be pointed towards any tutorials and relevant online resources as well that implement this functionality. Cheers!
