Geolocation - determine if allowed or not in React
.everyoneloves__top-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__mid-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__bot-mid-leaderboard:empty{ height:90px;width:728px;box-sizing:border-box;
}
I am using the geolocation windows API to get the current location of a user whenever they go on the site. I'm wondering if there is a way to check if the user selected 'Allowed' or 'Block' when prompted the message.
Here is my code:
const geolocation = navigator.geolocation;
if (geolocation) {
geolocation.getCurrentPosition((position) => {
this.setState({
latitude: position.coords.latitude,
longitude: position.coords.longitude
})
});
} else {
console.log('Not supported');
}
I'm wondering if there is a variable or value that I can use to determine if a user selected 'Allowed' or 'Block' something like geolocation.accepted
or something.
Any tips would be great!
Thanks!
