Tools/languages for running analyses in data warehouse?

0

Are there any tools/languages that allow data scientists to avoid having to pull huge datasets from one server to another for statistical & machine learning analyses, but instead run the analyses in situ on the data table in the data warehouse?

I'm aware of cloud services like Azure and AWS - but here I'm asking if there are any shortcuts to pushing data around without major infrastructure changes (like a statistical programming language that can be directly installed on our DW).
