Permission denied with OS.makedirs (ubuntu 18.04)
I'm new to Ubuntu (coming from windows) but I can't see to make directories on my newly installed secondary hardrive.
I get the error: 'PermissionError: [Errno 13] Permission denied:
I've tried the suggestions in the link below and tried changing the mode, but I'm still running into the same error.

root = '/media/moondra/data/images'
for label in labels:
path = os.path.join(root, label)
original_umask = os.umask(000)
print(original_umask)
os.makedirs(path,0o775, exist_ok = True) #tried 0o755 or 0o770.

Does/mediaexist? Do you have write access to this directory? Does/media/moondraexist? Do you have write access to it? Etc.

- open control panel in windows
- Select hardware and sound
- Select power options
- Select "Choose what closing the lid does"
- Select " Change settings that are currently unavailable"
- Disable "Turn on fast startup"
