I want to start UBER/LYFT app to get it into foreground from my app

-1

I am writing an app to make accessing the uber/lyft app using floating buttons in my app.

Basically I will have two floating buttons, one for Uber and the other for Lyft. When I click on the Uber floating button I want to start or get the Uber app in foreground and when I click on the Lyft floating button, get the Lyft App started or get it into foreground.

What Activity parameters do I use to achieve this?

I am using Android Oreo on my smartphone.

          Just look up the package name on Google Play for those apps.
          It should be in the address bar.
          Then use something like this to launch them:

          Intent launchIntent = getPackageManager().getLaunchIntentForPackage("com.package.address");
          if (launchIntent != null) {
          startActivity(launchIntent);//null pointer check in case package name was not found
          }

          Extending this, code below will let you launch an app, or take you to google play to download it:

          public void startNewActivity(Context context, String packageName) {
          Intent intent = context.getPackageManager().getLaunchIntentForPackage(packageName);
          if (intent == null) {
          // Bring user to the market or let them choose an app?
          intent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW);
          intent.setData(Uri.parse("market://details?id=" + packageName));
          }
          intent.addFlags(Intent.FLAG_ACTIVITY_NEW_TASK);
          context.startActivity(intent);
          }
