Flutter Image Uploads Stops when screen sleeps or app gets switched
What is the best strategy to handle bulk upload of images that was saved in a queue for later upload when wifi connection is established.
The app is used to take many photos during the day, and then at night the user presses the upload button which starts uploading the images from the queue.
This works fine as long as the user interacts with the app, but the moment the screen turns off this stops.
What strategy should be used to accomplish this task for uploading the images without requiring the user to interact with the app for both android/ios?
I've seen articles that tackle background events using geofencing, but with this app the app might be left overnight in a office for the images to sync.
This is a similar problem, however I'm using Flutter -
Android (or iOS) - Image Upload Queue
Are there any plugins/built in flutter functionality that can aid in accomplishing this?
Thanks in advance for any help or guidance.
