Failed to acquire socket. - OMP

I'm trying to do the run with the .sh file before processing with Openvas. But I don't get the same output as I did through the terminal. Where am I making a mistake?

in terminal

$ sudo pkill openvas
$ sudo openvasmd -a 127.0.0.1 -p 9390
$ sudo openvassd
$ omp --username admin --password admin --host 127.0.0.1 --port 9390 --xml='<get_users/>'
<get_users_response status_text="OK" status="200">

This work fine.

in asd.sh file

sudo pkill openvas
sudo openvasmd -a 127.0.0.1 -p 9390
sudo openvassd

omp --username admin --password admin --host 127.0.0.1 --port 9390 --xml='<get_users/>'

and run .sh file.

$ chmod +x asd.sh
$ ./asd.sh
Failed to acquire socket.

Both are the same, but the .sh file is failing.

  • Error solved. I'm writing the solution for other people. The script works correctly when you write "sudo openvasmd --rebuild" into the asd.sh file.
