Screen overlay and in screen fingerprint - cant register new fingerprints
I have an app that draws over other apps and I know that some security / permission settings can't be changed if a screen overlay is detected.
Recently phones with in screen fingerprint sensors came out and it looks like you can't register a fingerprint while an overlay is shown as well - this is what one of my users reported to me.
Questions
- does anyone know a source that proves this observation?
- is there a way to check if an in screen fingerprint reader is installed in a phone or not? (I know how to check if there is a fingerprint reader or not, but not if it is a in screen reader or not)

The answer for both of your questions is that it isn't standard across manufacturers, so who knows?
