I want to write to a file in "wb", but I want the first line to be an int with a new line. Here is my code

def encrypt_file(plaintext_file_name, ciphertext_file_name, e, n, block_size, pad = None):

plaintext = open(plaintext_file_name, "rb")

# Generates pad if there is no pad
if pad == None:
pad = generate_pad(block_size)

pad = bytes_to_int(pad)
encrypted_pad = int_to_bytes(modular_exponentiation(pad, e, n), block_size)

ciphertext = open(ciphertext_file_name, "wb")

ciphertext.write(str(pad)+"/n")

ciphertext.write(encrypted_pad)

block = plaintext.read(block_size)

while len(block) > 0:
ciphertext.write(xor_block(encrypted_pad, block))
block = plaintext.read(block_size)

plaintext.close()
ciphertext.close()

TypeError: a bytes-like object is required, not 'str'
