Streamparse 3.14 msgpack issue

When submitting the topology using streamparse with msgpack serialize I am getting the following error. The config.json and stack trace attached below
shows the same when running on HDP 2.6.5 cluster with storm version 1.1.0 and streamparse version 3.14 and python 2.7
