I'm working in the communication between a RaspBerry PI3(this use the gattlib in python3) and a nucleo(STM) with a Bluetooth module.

Gattlib: https://bitbucket.org/OscarAcena/pygattlib/overview

Source: https://bitbucket.org/OscarAcena/pygattlib/src

Libbost-dev version : 1.62

Bluez version : 5.43

I have a problem with the function: read_by_handle(). When I try to read a value ( between 128-255 (Extended ASCII)) of a characteristic, this return an error message that says this:

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'boost::python::error_already_set'. Aborted

But when I read this value through a notification (on_notification), the value it reads correctly. Result:

characteristic(0x18) updated with value: b'xb2xc8'

Thanks!
