How to handle multiple values from a Python call in Swift for TensorFlow (PythonObject)

0

I am having trouble handling multiple values from a Python call in Swift for TensorFlow. In Python I can perform the following:

import librosa
y, sr = librosa.load('music.mp3')

In Swift for TensorFlow this should be converted to:

let librosa = Python.import("librosa")
var (y, sr) = librosa.load("music.mp3")

However, this generates the error message Cannot invoke 'load' with an argument list of type '(String)'. If I then change the above to:

var y = librosa.load("music.mp3")
print(y)
print(type(of: y))

I then get the following output:

(array([0., 0., 0., ..., 0., 0., 0.], dtype=float32), 22050)
PythonObject

So, my questions are:

  1. Why does var (y, sr) = librosa.load("music.mp3") not work?

  2. In the last example, how do I access the individual members of the PythonObject so that I can get the individual returned values from the function call?

  • I have an answer to the first question, add '.tuple2' to the end of the call so that it becomes 'var (y, sr) = librosa.load("music.mp3").tuple2'
