Cannot connect to Docker MYSQL after changed “llimit to host matching”
I have up mysql-docker in my VM (Linux). Inside the VM, I could connect to mysql-docker through workbench and I needed to access it from another machine for a testing purposes. But it was giving below error when I tried to connect externally.
Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication packet', system error: 0
So I changed 'limit to host matching' as 192.168.200% (Previously it was %). After that I'm unable to connect to mysql even inside VM. Now it's giving below error when I tried to connect it inside VM;
Failed to Connect to MySQL at 172.20.0.2:3306 with user root
I think this is because the change of 'limit to host matching'. I tried by;
- Removing mysql-docker image and again pull the image and start
- connecting from another machine that has IP like 192.168.200%
But nothing was worked.
I guess, if I could modify 'limit to host matching' from a conf file, may be it will work. But I don't know where it's written.
So what can I do to resolve this?
