Syed Noor (Punjabi, Urdu: سید نور) is a Pakistani film director based in Lahore.
Noor also co-produced and directed the Bollywood film Meri Shadi Karao in 2012.[2][3]

Personal life
On 1 May 2007, Saima Noor in a press conference said that she married Syed Noor on 24 July 2005.[1]
Noor, the 60-year-old filmmaker suffered a paralysis stroke early on 31 December 2011 and was brought to Sheikh Zayad Hospital. According to doctors, he suffered with mild stroke and he is out of danger. However, the doctors suggested to him to remain in the hospital for some days.[4]
His wife Rukhsana Noor died on 12 January 2017, having had cancer for 15 years. She was 58 at the time of her death. She started out as a journalist and also did some teaching at some colleges. Rukhsana had also written several film songs and film scripts for Syed Noor's films. After Noor secretly married actress Saima, Rukhsana started living separately from him but she chose not to divorce him.[5]
