ReactJS button calling window.print() behave different than pressing CMD+P

I have a ReactJS component that has a print button with the following handler:

handlePrint = event => {
window.print();
event.preventDefault();
event.stopPropagation();
return false;
};

The button works fine and the print preview is opened fine. The problem is related to margins. While my CTRL+P appears on the top of the page, the window.print() shows content in the middle of tha page, what I don't want to.

Why calling window.print() is different than pressing CTRL+P ? I'm using Chrome 70 and on Safari running on MacOs Mojave....
