Amazon EFS mounting problem. Cannot retrieve the region?
Trying to setup AWS RFS on an EC2 server, each time I run the mount command I get 'efs error retrieving region'.
Mount command I'm typing is:
mount -t efs -o tls fs-047b8ccc:/ efs
There seems to be zero problems like this on the Internet?
amazon-web-services amazon-ec2 efs

Can you check if your DNS is enabled in your vpc?

@iamwoor and you are not using any custom DNS settings in the VPC DHCP Options Set?

Thanks for all the answers. Tried using full DNS, same issue 'error retrieving region'. I'm not using any custom DNS settings in the VPC. Everything is setup really simple. This is doing my head in !!! :)
