.htaccess security redirects to main index page
I am having an issue with the .htaccess and .htpasswd way to secure a directory on web server. After creating and uploading htaccess file to the web server directory I want to secure, whenever I try accessing the protected directory using the password and username I created on my htpasswd file, it redirects me to the main index page instead of the index page on the secured directory. How do i fix this?
