Concurrent evalTap execution for fs2.Stream
I'm using fs2.Stream and I have a question about concurrent processing. I have a fs2.Stream[F, O] and Sink which can be represented as O => F[Unit]. So it is possible to use
def observeAsync(maxQueued: Int)(sink: Sink[F, O])
(implicit F: Concurrent[F]): Stream[F, O]
But as specified in the documentation
Note that if your sink can be represented by an
O => F[Unit],
evalTapwill provide much greater performance.
I could use evalTap, but it does not have implicit F: Concurrent[F] in its signature so I assume it is not possible to specify maxQueued bound for concurrent execution.
def evalTap[F2[x] >: F[x]: Functor](f: O => F2[Unit]): Stream[F2, O]
So is the only way to go for me is to call observeAsync? Even if my Sink is actually O => F[Unit]?
