How can I group my columns with $wpdb-> SQL query?

I have a table named wp_prices like:
id | post_id | parent_id | child_id | price
I want to group parent_id's
and show their child's under parent_id's
and also want to see parent_id's
total children.
For example:
Parent A (Total: 3)
- Child A1 (price)
- Child A2 (price)
- Child A3 (price)
Parent B (Total: 1)
- Child B1 (price)
Parent C (Total: 2)
- Child C1 (price)
- Child C2 (price)
(I will get ID names with Wordpress's get_term_by "id" function.)
How can I do this?
Is it possible with a single $wpdb SQL query?
mysql sql wordpress
