Handle dictionary in GraphQL type

I have the following complex/nested metrics dictionary in my Database and I would like to pass this down to my frontend through my GraphQL Session type. However, I'm not sure how to go about modelling this Dictionary since GraphQL doesn't provide a Dictionary type.
// structure of metrics
metrics {
[task: string]: {
[balanceKey: string]: {
metricName1: float,
metricName2: float,
}
}
}
type Session {
metrics: ???
}
I'm afraid the only option I have is to create the below nested structure of objects. Is this the only way to surface the data or does anyone have a better suggestion or structure in mind. Greatly appreciate the help :)

tasks: [Task]
}
type Tasks {
name: String
balanceKeys: [BalanceKey]
}
type BalanceKey {
name: String
metrics: [Metric]
}
type Metric {
name: String
value: Float
}

You have to use the explained option & that is the only way to create custom types.
