Overview

The show was primarily filmed in and around West Chester, Pennsylvania, with visits to Delaware, Detroit, Las Vegas, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, New York City and Palm Springs. Bam's parents, April and Phil Margera, also appear in the show. Margera's uncle Don Vito does not make regular appearances due to MTV's concerns about his legal problems, stemming from sexual assault charges in Colorado in August 2006.[2] Although he did attend Bam's wedding, he is only seen in the background on one shot.

The show ran for 9 episodes.[2] Margera has stated that MTV approached him about a second season[3] and that the network wanted to stage a pregnancy, with Margera and Rothstein acting as if it was actually happening.[4]

The release of the DVD for the show was delayed contrary to the previously planned date of June 12 but was released in Region 2 on October 22, 2007.[5] Margera has also said that it has been released in Australia as well.[6] On September 4, 2009, Amazon.com made the DVD available exclusively through their Amazon Video on Demand service.[7]
