Importing from RDBMS to Hbase

0

I'm importing a table from oracle database to the hbase and I'm curious about one thing:

I have 2 sqoop commands for importing the same table:

First:

sqoop import --connect jdbc:oracle:thin:@ip:orcl --username test --password test --table EMPS --columns ID,FIRSTNAME,LASTNAME --hbase-table test1 --column-family INFORMATION --hbase-row-key ID,FIRSTNAME -m 1 --hbase-create-table

Second:

sqoop import --connect jdbc:oracle:thin:@ip --username test --password test --table EMPS --columns ID,LASTNAME,FIRSTNAME --hbase-table test2 --column-family INFORMATION --hbase-row-key ID,FIRSTNAME -m 1 --hbase-create-table

I changed order in argument --columns. The first sqoop command contains FIRSTNAME, LASTNAME the second LASTNAME, FIRSTNAME.

Does column order in hbase matter so after executing the first sqoop cmd there will be FIRSTNAME as first column and LASTNAME as second column under the column family INFORMATION?
