Creating an object from a method within another class and having it appear on the BlueJ workbench
Research:
BlueJ: Create object via codepad that'll appear in Object Bench?
How do I create an object from another class (BlueJ)
The above posts came close to what I want to achieve but did not manage to answer my question.
Question:
Can you create an object from within a method in another class which then appears as an object on the workbench in the BlueJ IDE?
For example:
This block of code creates the object as desired from the Customer class. However it does not appear as an object on the bench. Meaning that I can't select and run methods from the Customer class unless I code it in from the Bank class.
public class Bank
public void accountActivation(String newName, String newID, String newPinNumber)
{
customer = new Customer(newName,newID,newPinNumber);
}
Is it possible to have this object which is created, become it's own object on the work bench. Basically the red rounded square that appears.
addToBench was mentioned but I don't understand how to implement this and I am struggling to find any other meaningful information.
Finally if this is not possible, how do I create multiple objects and store / reference them again?
Thanks in advanced.
