so as the title suggest (I think) my vlc isn't functioning properly.
this problem started occurring recently but i am not sure what caused it (update or installing a program).
i do suspect the problem to have appeared during the last update where there was a grub update but can't figure out how it's connected.
when ever i try to play a video using vlc it seems to crash instantly but if i start vlc on it's own with no video to play it will appear normally.
i found this problem someone else had and tried to follow same instructions with no success, tho when i type vlc -v and try to start a video it doesn't give me the same error that he has.
instead i get this(screen shot of konsole).
any ideas?
ubuntu mp4 vlc kde
