Parameterized Jenkins job calling parameterized declarative pipeline in shared library?

0

I have the following declarative pipeline declared within a function inside vars/pipeline.groovy:

def call(Map pipelineParams)
{
pipeline {
agent any
environment { }
stages {
stage('stageA') {
steps {
... Do something with arg1, arg2 or arg3
}
}
stage('stageB') {
steps {
... Do something with arg1, arg2 or arg3
}
}
...
}
}
}

I have a several jobs/Jenkinsfiles which invoke this shared library pipeline in variations of the following (all with pre-defined/hardcoded arguments):

@Library('shared-libs') _
pipeline(arg1: "...", arg2: "...")

If I want a parameterized job/Jenkinsfile which can invoke pipeline(...) with the caller-supplied arguments, what would be the best way to approach this?

For example, I'm looking for something like this:

@Library('shared-libs') _

parameters
{
String(name: "arg1", defaultValue: "")
String(name: "arg2", defaultValue: "")
}

pipeline(arg1: params.arg1, arg2: params.arg2)
