how to fix tag mismatch error in an xml file

0

I have edited an xml file and added these lines:

   <!--  Place User-defined menu definitions HERE  -->
<Menus>
<Menu name="ExtMenu" text="My Scripts" hide="yes"/>

</Menus>

I get the error tag mismatch because of adding them. Does someone know what the problem is?Thanks.

    Please can you edit the question to include more information; there may be details which seem obvious to you, or which you don't understand, but which will help someone solve your problem. For instance: What are you running that shows the error message? What is the exact error message? Can you show us any more of the file, before and after? Ideally, you should try to create a Minimal, Complete, and Verifiable example - we don't need to see the whole file you're working with, just a small test case with instructions on how to reproduce the problem ourselves.
