How can I revert to previous version of Maxmind GeoIP Lite City database?
I have been using the GeoIP Detection plugin for Wordpress to get some location specific data https://wordpress.org/plugins/geoip-detect/ and using the Automatic download and update of Maxmind GeoIP Lite City
option. Yesterday it looks like my version automatically updated and unfortunately the data is less accurate at least for my location. Is there a way to revert to the old version of the database? I attempted to open the GeoLite2-City.mmdb
file where the data is but I am unsure of how to deal with this file type. It looks like I cannot open it in a normal text editor.
